Steve S. Christensen

Steve S. Christensen has over twenty years of experience as a trial attorney. He has been the first chair attorney in 17 jury trials in the states of Utah and California. He has been the first chair attorney on 35 bench trials and over 20 other evidentiary hearings tried to the bench. 

His trial work has included issues in real estate, homeowners associations, banking, contract, collection, personal injury, legal malpractice, adversary proceedings in bankruptcy, child custody, division of property and family support in domestic relations, juvenile court, temporary restraining orders, and protective orders. He has also represented clients in binding arbitrations and has settled hundreds of cases before, during and after trial. 

He has represented large and small businesses as well as individuals. In addition to representing clients on issues that Mr. Christensen has taken to trial, he has represented clients on issues including wrongful liens, boundary disputes, easements, real covenants, Internet rights, mechanics liens, construction defects, bond and real estate foreclosure, lease workouts, contested trusts and estates, fraud, negotiable instruments, corporate dissolution, wrongful death and issues in administrative law. 

Outside of the practice of law, Mr. Christensen has spent time as a volunteer with local schools and with the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoys playing tennis with his wife, practicing instrumental music with his children and listening to classical music and recorded books
